Junkyard Jam

Mike's Scrapyard, Crewe - 7th July 2019

I was invited again to go paint at Junkyard Jam, the ever-growing art event hosted by Mike and Andy @Urban Artistry. This is a great opportunity, showcasing local and national artists, who specialise in graffiti, mural work, street/urban art and paste-ups.

I wanted to paint a large-scale portrait based on a favourite classical painting by Delaroche, "The Execution of Lady Jane Grey". It was created with acrylics and large bruses, and spraypaints.
